SQLPLUS - readline wrapper/history/line completion This is a great utility for unix/linux which allows one to scroll through command history of sqlplus (or any other program) by pressing the UP key. There are other cool things about rlwrap. Download link: [NEW] rlwrap-0.18-1.i386.rpm on dizwell.com [OLD] http://utopia.knoware.nl/~hlub/uck/rlwrap/ REFERENCE: http://www.dizwell.com/prod/node/56 Aug-25-2008 UPDATE: I am sick and tired of updating these links for you dizwell! Get a clue buddy! If you change your website's structure do everyone and yourself a favor by using mod_rewrite so that your previous links continue to work. I am done with this -- I should have probably created a mirror for dizwell on this site. Do you hear me dizwell? Do you want me to store a copy of your rlwrap here, on dbatoolz.com? Just give me the word. PS: it's all good dizwell, just pulling your leg OK?

Here's my alias to "enable" rlwrap on sqlplus: stechkin.LMON-> grep rlwrap $HOME/.profile alias sqlplus="rlwrap sqlplus" You can also build a list of commands that need to be auto completed, save them in a file and have rlwrap pull them using a TAB -- here are the details: saving sqlplus commands for rlwrap
